Founded by John Boyd Dunlop, a Scottish vet who invented the pneumatic bicycle and car tyre in 1888. Dunlop’s first golf ball was made in 1907. The Dunlop 65 was made to celebrate Henry Cotton’s second round 65 in the 1934 Open Championship at Sandwich and it became the most popular ball of all.
